We begin with a conversation—exploring your story, vision, and project needs. Whether it’s a bespoke interior or custom pattern, this step ensures we’re aligned in purpose and possibility.
Brief & Fee Proposal
Every project begins with understanding. I work closely with you to create a tailored design brief that captures your goals, aesthetic preferences, functional needs, and any specific requirements.
Once the brief is defined, I prepare a detailed fee proposal outlining:
Scope of work and deliverables
Estimated timelines and key milestones
Design phases and collaboration points
Investment breakdown based on project complexity and scale
This ensures transparency, alignment, and a shared foundation for a smooth and soulful design journey.
Concept & Design Presentation and Refinement
Ideas take shape through moodboards, sketches, and initial concepts. This phase blends intuition with strategy, laying the creative foundation for your space or surface design.
Selection of Finishes and Fittings
Now that the design concept has been refined, we commence the selection of hard fit-out items such as wall finishes, flooring, lighting, cabinetry and hardware. These can be selected from numerous suppliers, determined by the design aesthetic, timeline and budgetary considerations of your project.
Documentation
Our knowledge in space planning, interior detailing and custom joinery is integral to a successful project. Our in-house CAD drawings include a high level of detail. These CAD drawings aid the tender and construction process for cabinetry, bathrooms and other detailing that may be required outside the architect’s scope.
Procurement, Delivery & Installation
Once approved, I coordinate with trusted suppliers, artisans, and printers to bring your design to life, be it wallpaper, textiles, or curated furnishings. We can manage the procurement of products, negotiating preferential rates, as well as oversee the delivery and installation of products to your site and liaise with your builder according to the build schedule.
